this individual is responsible for the ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services provided in thsi 500 bed hospital. The
Director of Women Services: Initiates, guides, and directs the coordination of Women Services functions.
Functions as a resource person for staff members and assists in necessary education of individual members of the nursing staff.
Assumes responsibility for the overall quality of nursing care provided by the Maternal Child Services Department.
Makes decisions regarding activities within these areas based on hospital Administrative Standards, Human Resources Standards,
Department of Nursing Standards and Maternal Child Services Standards.
Salary range expected to be $120,000 to $140,000, plus excellent benefits and relocation assistance.

Reporting to the CNO, this Registered Nurse (RN) Perinatal Director is responsible for the overall daily operations of Maternity Services,
which includes a 9-bed Labor and Delivery department and a 7-bed Prenatal unit and Obstetrics / Gynecology department.
Provide high-quality patient care to and act as a liaison with patients and their representatives, physicians, and employees
Supervise and mentor staff (40 FTEs) to ensure their performance and the accomplishment of departmental responsibilities
Monitor annual budget; maintains appropriate staffing levels within budgeted hours. Ensure department compliance with TJC and all
applicable agencies (local, state and federal).
Qualifications include: Florida RN at time of start, Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or equivalent preferred or working towards same
Master’s degree in Nursing or Allied Health preferred. Minimum 6 years Labor & Deliver experience in the acute care hospital
environment as well as 3 years of management experience. Experience working in a high risk L & D is desirable. Current BLS, ACLS
required; NRP and Intermediate (or Advanced) Fetal Heart Monitoring Fetal Heart Monitoring within in 90 days. STABLE within 6 months.
Salary range is expected to be $92,000 to $115,000, plus bonus potential. Nationwide relocation assistance provided.
